Innovation in the age of AI
What does it take to be truly innovative in a world where machines create? In this energizing talk, Maya Ackerman explores the power of human creativity and its evolving relationship with artificial intelligence. Audiences will discover how to tap deep into their own creativity to drive business innovation in this pivot moment. We will also explore how creative machines can be leveraged to unlock fresh ideas, fuel bold thinking, and transform organizations into hubs of innovation. With practical insights and inspiring examples, Maya shows how to stay firmly in the driver’s seat of imagination while using AI to supercharge creativity and lead in the Age of AI.
AI, Art & Our Future
Creative machines, once confined to research labs, are now actively reshaping our lives and culture. This talk begins with Harold Cohen, who in the 1970s created the pioneering machine painter AARON. From this origin point, we explore what it means to live in a world where machines compose music, write poetry, and generate images in seconds. How does this new form of intelligence relate to our own? And how do we ensure that human creativity, wisdom, and values continue to thrive in the age of AI? More than a technological story, this is a human one about imagination, expression, and the future we choose to build alongside our machines.
AI for humanity
Artificial Intelligence carries real risks, from job displacement and copyright challenges to unprecedented exposure to misinformation. While seemingly inevitable at first, at the heart of these challenges is our attempt to apply outdated frameworks of efficiency and control, relics of the Industrial Revolution and a capitalist system never built with generative AI in mind. But despite these challenges, there is a way forward: a vision where AI becomes a driver of both economic prosperity and human flourishing. Achieving this future is not only about regulation, but about reimagining what technology can be and actively building the world that we would like to live in.
AI Agents: The Next Frontier
Where did AI agents come from, and where are they taking us next? In this keynote, Dr. Maya Ackerman traces the evolution of AI, uncovering how agentic systems emerged and why they represent one of the most transformative shifts in technology. She reveals little-known and original directions for the future of AI agents: From expanding machine creativity to enabling deeper human–AI collaboration, these emerging opportunities point toward a future where agents drive both innovation and human progress. With a business-forward lens and a focus on human-centered outcomes, Maya shows how to navigate the age of agents to stay ahead of the curve and shape a future of innovation with purpose.
